The translucence of the Nerikomi technique lends a museum quality - yet each piece is a usable piece of art. The traditional flower patterns are synonymous with the practice of Nerikomi. This porcelain has a delicate appearance, but is surprisingly strong compared to other types of ceramic. It is food safe, dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and even oven safe at low temperatures.
